Jeffries weighs on Kiggans’ comments

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ office is slamming Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-Va.) for a highly controversial radio appearance, but the Democratic leader is stopping short of calling for Kiggans’ resignation.

On Monday, Kiggans appeared on a local radio show where the interviewer, Rich Herrera, said Jeffries “should get [his] cotton-picking hands off of Virginia.” The host said if Jeffries wants to influence Virginia politics, he should move to the state and run for office.
