The House Appropriations Committee plans to kick off the first of its markups by the end of the month, starting what will be another tough appropriations season.
First up is expected to be the MilCon-VA and Financial Services and General Government bills. MilCon-VA is generally one of the least controversial funding bills, but lawmakers can sometimes have a difficult time with FSGG, which covers partisan flashpoints like the IRS and some of the president’s renovations.
