Schumer on election thumping, GOP readies for leader forum

Senate Republicans will gather shortly behind closed doors to press the three candidates to succeed Mitch McConnell as GOP leader on their plans for the Republican Conference. The election is scheduled for tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in the Old Senate Chamber.
