Senate Commerce Committee Chair Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is taking a victory lap on his spectrum proposal in the GOP reconciliation bill despite continuing opposition from a handful of GOP senators.
Cruz is pushing to make more radio spectrum commercially available through auctions held by the Federal Communications Commission. His plan would raise a projected $85 billion.
