Big Tech wants its spectrum protected

Big Tech is entering the spectrum fight.

Apple, Amazon, Meta and several other tech and cable companies sent a letter Monday to congressional leaders asking them to protect the unlicensed spectrum they use for Wi-Fi from any auctions. Big Tech has an uneasy relationship with Washington at the moment, but their plea could find some support as Republicans wrangle over spectrum policy.
