Corporate America is once again staring at the possibility that liability protections for sharing cyber threat data with the federal government are going away, at least temporarily.
The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act, the 2015 law that provides the legal shield, expires Friday. An extension of the program through the end of the fiscal year was included in the minibus spending package passed by the House.
