China Hawks want TikTok off the table in any potential trade talks with Beijing

Leading congressional China hawks warned Tuesday that President Donald Trump should not include TikTok as part of any potential trade talks with China.

John Moolenaar (R-Mich.) and Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.), reinforced their view that the Chinese government shouldn’t have control over TikTok if the app is to operate in the United States.
