Treasury sanctions Belarusian military production

The Treasury Department announced new sanctions Friday aimed at the regime of Belarus President Alyaksandr Lukashenka and his support for Russia’s war on Ukraine.

The actions, via the Office of Foreign Assets Control, target several “persons involved in supporting Russia’s war in Ukraine through military resource production” and sanctions evasion, according to a release.
