Lights, camera, action: Tax leaders hit the networks

Tax fans, get some popcorn and settle in. If you like hearing directly from the incoming tax committee chairs (and especially if you like Fox), you’re about to get a lot more of that on your TV screens.

Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), the next Finance Committee chair, is getting in front of the camera again after a long hiatus. Crapo isn’t the type to prioritize TV hits as much as some lawmakers, but the Idaho Republican went on Fox Business twice over the last few weeks and made news. It had been a year and a half since Crapo’s last formal TV interview in mid-2023.
