White House officials briefed top House lawmakers this afternoon on the evolving situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip, as well as Russia’s ongoing war with Ukraine.
House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Michael McCaul (R-Texas) was among those who attended the classified briefing, along with Rep. Gregory Meeks of New York, the panel’s top Democrat, and Acting Speaker Pro Tem Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.).
