Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) blasted Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Federal Reserve Chair Jay Powell and acting Director of the U.S. Mint Kristie McNally for having “yet to provide any guidance or formulate a plan to manage penny circulation to meet current and future demand.”
