Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are panicking over President Donald Trump’s decision to sell Nvidia’s H200 chip to China. They argue it gives away the United States’s advantage in the artificial intelligence race. It’s intensifying what was already going to be a vigorous debate on chips exports for 2026.
