Nick LaLota explains vote against crypto market bill

In May, House Republicans did something remarkable when they passed a significant overhaul of crypto market regulations and netted more than 70 Democratic votes in the process.

Republicans were nearly united — but not quite. Three GOP house members voted against the FIT for 21st Century Act. Rep. Nick LaLota (R-N.Y.) was one of them, and he’s got some interesting electoral history with crypto. So we wanted to ask: Why buck the conference?
