Treasury nominee Scott Bessent testified before the Senate Finance Committee this morning and went deeper into his views on Trump administration priorities, including tariffs, taxes and sanctions.
And in a sign of just how ready Republicans are to back President-elect Donald Trump’s Treasury pick, Senate Finance Committee Chair Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) said before even questioning Bessent that he intends to support his nomination.
