One of the headlines for us in the first quarter fundraising filings is Sen. Dick Durbin’s (D-Ill.) report.

1) Durbin, who turns 81 this year, raised just $42,695 in the first quarter, a paltry sum for a senior senator in cycle. There’s been widespread speculation that Durbin won’t seek reelection. He has $1.6 million in the bank.
