Senior GOP defense hawks are officially anxious for the Trump administration to get them details on their Iran needs ASAP.
Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.), Defense Appropriations Committee chair, said he planned to call OMB Director Russ Vought on Wednesday for a status update on the war supplemental, as senior Pentagon officials couldn’t offer a timeline for one during testimony a day earlier.
“It’s hard for us to time anything without the administration getting the supplemental to us,” Calvert said. “I’ve told that to the secretary and anybody that would listen.”
