Big bank CEOs to crash crypto talks

News: Three CEOs representing the nation’s largest banks will meet with senators of both parties this week to discuss crypto market structure legislation, according to the text of an invite we obtained.

Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser, Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan and Wells Fargo CEO Charlie Scharf are expected to sit down with senators on Thursday. The meetings with are being organized by the Financial Services Forum.

The CEOs “would love the opportunity to meet with your boss and have a discussion on U.S. GSIB market structure priorities,” the invite to congressional staff said. The executives are expected to meet with Republican and Democratic lawmakers in separate meetings.
