A long-awaited revamp of a House bill to restructure the federal regulation of crypto markets was unveiled today. Enactment remains a long shot, but this is a landmark piece of legislation for digital assets.
Lawmakers will have roughly two weeks to digest the 250-page package from House Financial Services Committee Chair Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) and House Agriculture Committee Chair Glenn Thompson (R-Pa.) before the measure heads to the floor the week of May 20.
