News: House Financial Services Committee lawmakers will be briefed by independent investigators in the coming days about the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.’s allegedly toxic work culture.

Republican members are expected to be briefed by Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton lawyers on Thursday, according to two people. Democratic staff and members have discussed holding their own briefing, but details remain in flux, according to two additional people.
