Greer takes the House hot seat

President Donald Trump’s massive tariffs are the topic of the day at the House Ways and Means Committee, but compared to the markets lately, there hasn’t been too much turmoil.

House Republicans raised some muted concerns with Trump’s trade war, asking U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer to respond to constituents’ worries and to explain how he’ll define success. Democrats hammered Greer on the new import levies, which have become a major focus of the party’s anti-Trump messaging.
