Hawley, Trump vs the world on credit card cap

When former President Donald Trump floated a “temporary” cap on credit card interest rates, the banking sector and its political allies in Congress groaned.

That group did not include Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.). The Missouri Republican is jazzed. “I think this is a terrific idea,” Hawley said.
