Reconciliation bill critics’ August sales pitch

Several Republicans who ultimately voted yes on their party’s signature reconciliation bill were quick to turn around and criticize it.

But now that they’re back home for August recess, those lawmakers need to explain that position to voters. As the GOP works to sell the tax and spending cut law, we checked in with some of the bill’s skeptics on how they plan to do that.
