The Trump administration’s nominee to chair the Federal Reserve continued his tour of Capitol Hill Tuesday, meeting with Senate Banking Republicans like Sens. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) and Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.).
But where Kevin Warsh’s nomination goes, and when? No one really knows, including Senate Banking Committee Chair Tim Scott (R-S.C.).
“I look forward to the process beginning,” Scott told us today. The Banking chair met with Warsh last week. “What that looks like – don’t know yet,” Scott added. “We’re ready.”
