House Democratic leaders to Johnson: We have your back

It’s quite a momentous day in the House.

First: Democratic leaders released a statement saying they would vote to table any GOP effort to oust Speaker Mike Johnson. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and his leadership team had long signaled that this was their plan. But they made it official this morning as a closed Democratic Caucus meeting was wrapping up.
