House Budget Committee Chair Jodey Arrington (R-Texas) told reporters that he believes House Republicans could agree to a $5 trillion debt limit increase in their final reconciliation bill.
That would smooth over one significant point of tension between the House and Senate in the budget resolution that passed this week. President Donald Trump has been pressing GOP lawmakers to take the debt limit off his plate.
