A Democratic money dump in deep-red Florida

Let’s start with this: Democrats are almost certainly not going to win the April 1 special election in Florida’s 6th District. This is the seat that was represented by former Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) before the Republican assumed his role as President Donald Trump’s national security adviser.

Trump carried the seat by 30 points in November. And Waltz won by 33 points in November. In other words, it’s very red.
