The House Ethics Committee deadlocked along partisan lines over whether to publicly release its long-awaited report into former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) following a lengthy two-hour meeting in the Longworth House Office building.
Rep. Michael Guest (R-Miss.), the panel’s chair, told reporters after the meeting: “There was not an agreement by the committee to release the report.”
