Speaker Mike Johnson’s leadership team had an informal agreement with the Republican moderates — Fitzpatrick and Reps. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.), Jen Kiggans (R-Va.) and David Valadao (R-Calif.) — to offer an amendment that would extend the ACA tax credits.
