House Republicans released competing bills Tuesday to regulate how college athletes make money as the conference hashes out a path forward on the controversial issue.

House Energy and Commerce Committee Republicans and House GOP Conference Chair Lisa McClain unveiled separate bills that would establish a national framework for how college athletes can earn money from their name, image and likeness (NIL).
