House GOP asks Jack Smith to keep records as Trump cases wind down

House Republicans have asked Special Counsel Jack Smith to preserve all records related to its federal cases against President-elect Donald Trump, a sign the GOP has no plans to end their own probes into the criminal prosecutions of the incoming president.
