Tester won’t support challenge to climate rule

One of the Senate’s top Democratic opponents of a controversial climate disclosure rule said he wouldn't support a Congressional Review Act challenge this week after the regulation was watered down.

Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) had big problems with a 2022 proposal from the Securities and Exchange Commission to mandate climate disclosures from public companies, including up and down their supply chains.
