Thune tees up open amendment GENIUS votes

News: Senate Majority Leader John Thune has told Senate offices to expect an open amendment process for the GENIUS Act, according to two people familiar with the process.

Thune has spent months talking about returning the Senate to “regular order,” and he continued to do that tonight on the Senate floor.
