Senate GOP leaders are gearing up to take their first formal step as soon as this afternoon on advancing President Donald Trump’s legislative agenda.
Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso told reporters the plan is to take the first vote on the compromise budget resolution today – the motion to proceed. It’s possible that leadership adds this to the 2:30 p.m. vote series, though that decision isn’t yet final.
