Senate Majority Leader John Thune said Tuesday he sent Democrats a list of nominees he wants to confirm before the August recess, warning Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer that he’d be “playing a risky game” by holding up the process.
Thune added he’s willing to entertain demands from Senate Democrats to unlock their support for fast-tracking the confirmation votes. Democratic leaders haven’t yet outlined what they’d want in exchange.
