Trump saddles Senate GOP with another controversial pick

Paging Senate Republicans: President-elect Donald Trump announced Thursday he plans to nominate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as secretary of Health and Human Services.

RFK Jr. has questioned the efficacy of vaccines and has said he’d want to ban fluoride from drinking water. He was a Democrat but endorsed Trump earlier this year and was a campaign surrogate for the president-elect.
