The long-awaited Biden administration rule on exporting advanced chips and cutting-edge artificial intelligence was released this morning. Now, the last-minute regulation is spurring at least one major threat to use Congress’ power to rescind newly issued regulations.
The rule on AI “diffusion” also highlights the splits between China hawks and business advocates on both sides of the aisle.
