Tech: Huang bullish on tech in Middle East

The U.S. tech industry should continue to place big bets in the Middle East despite the war in Iran spreading throughout the region, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang told us in a recent interview.

President Donald Trump crafted a series of deals with gulf states last year for greater AI investment in the Middle East, including the sales of advanced Nvidia chips. As the war the United States and Israel are waging against Iran has expanded, attacks on data centers and other tech infrastructure have had many policymakers and investors question whether the region is a good investment.

Not Huang, who said he “believes” in Trump’s “goal” with the war.
