Big news: The Senate passed the annual NDAA via a 77-20 vote, sending the $900 billion annual defense policy bill to President Donald Trump. The White House said it strongly supports the legislation. Kids bill hits 60 cosponsors

The Kids Online Safety Act is officially filibuster-proof.

The measure that would regulate social media design in a bid to protect young users on social media notched 18 new cosponsors Thursday, and got to 60 supporters overall, even as House leaders look to revamp the measure to lessen the force of some provisions.
