Republicans getting farther apart on spectrum

The Republican split over spectrum policy in the reconciliation bill doesn’t seem to be getting any closer.

Senate Commerce Committee Chair Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and several Republicans want to make more radio spectrum commercially available as part of the GOP filibuster-proof reconciliation package. They’ve encountered opposition from the Pentagon and its allies on Capitol Hill.
