Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) said the Pentagon’s plan to overhaul its Cyber Command will be “expedited” to deal with cybersecurity challenges of the future.
Rounds, who’s chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee’s cybersecurity panel, told us he anticipates a “significant amount” of the Defense Department’s “Cybercom 2.0” plan “completed” by the next quarter. Rounds said he’ll expect quarterly updates on the initiative’s progress.
