Group jumps into gig tax push

TechNet is jumping into the fight about whether President Donald Trump’s promise to cut taxes on tips will extend to gig workers. The group wants self-employed drivers and others to get the break.

The trade association represents gig companies including Uber and DoorDash but has additional muscle from its membership among device-makers, artificial intelligence firms and financial services companies.
