Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-Iowa) introduced a resolution Thursday to amend House rules and prohibit members, staff and other chamber employees from trading on prediction markets, according to bill text obtained by Punchbowl News.

The resolution mirrors a Senate rules change introduced by Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) that passed last week via unanimous consent. The language would not apply to insurance products.
