Appeals court rejects Habba’s N.J. appointment

A federal appeals court ruled on Monday that Alina Habba’s appointment to serve as acting U.S. attorney for New Jersey is unlawful. The ruling is the latest blow to President Donald Trump’s attempts to sidestep the Senate’s confirmation process.
