Democrats emerged from a closed-door briefing on the Trump administration’s ongoing boat strikes in the Caribbean Thursday vowing to aggressively continue their oversight of the U.S. military operations that have roiled Capitol Hill.

Sen. Jack Reed (R.I.), ranking Democrat of the Armed Services Committee, said he was “deeply disturbed by what I saw this morning,” while Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) told reporters: “I would just say I’m glad we had a bipartisan briefing, but I have a lot of questions.”
