CFTC commissioner to head Blockchain Association

A commissioner on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission will leave the agency to lead a top crypto trade association.

CFTC Commissioner Summer Mersinger will join the Blockchain Association as CEO at the end of the month. Mersinger previously served as an aide to now-Senate Majority Leader John Thune.

Mersinger gave Thune a shoutout in a statement this morning:
