The Texas Democratic Senate primary got a filing deadline surprise on Monday when former Rep. Colin Allred (D-Texas) dropped out to run for the House.
All eyes now turn to Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), who is expected to launch her Senate bid later today. Crockett has an announcement event scheduled for this afternoon.
