Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) officially launched his reelection campaign on Wednesday and quickly garnered endorsements from Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso. GOP Sens. Steve Daines (Mont.), Tim Sheehy (Mont.), Bill Hagerty (Tenn.) and Rick Scott (Fla.) are also behind Cornyn.
One name staying quiet for now? Cornyn’s fellow Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz.
