Van Hollen returns to Washington

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) laid into the Trump administration on Friday after returning from El Salvador, where the Maryland Democrat visited with Salvadoran immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

Speaking to reporters after arriving at Washington Dulles International Airport, Van Hollen said Abrego Garcia’s deportation — and the Trump administration’s flouting of a court order to return him to the United States — was about constitutional due process.
