House Republican leadership is putting a kids digital bill on the back burner after the lead Senate sponsor made sure states can regulate artificial intelligence.

The move to put the Kids Online Safety Act on ice follows Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s (R-Tenn.) success last week in killing a House-passed provision in reconciliation that would’ve stopped states from regulating AI for a decade.
