The Senate sponsors of the Kids Online Safety Act don’t think much of efforts in the House to write a new version of the bill.
Sens. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) insisted the version of their bill that passed the Senate with 91 yes votes last year is the best option. Their comments, in a news conference, followed our scoop Sunday that Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-Fla.) has a new version of the bill, which hasn’t been released.
